Good to know
Nothing is uploaded on the free plan. Both SQL scripts and .db files are compared inside your browser — they never reach our servers. That makes the free plan safe to use with production data.
There is no daily limit on the free plan. Because the work happens on your own machine, it costs us nothing to run, so there is nothing to ration. The one exception: if your browser can't handle a comparison and it falls back to our servers, that fallback is limited to twice a day.
The free plan compares up to 200,000 rows per table. Larger tables are compared up to that point and clearly flagged as partial, never silently truncated.
Paid plans compare up to 500,000 rows per table and accept larger files. That work runs on our servers, so files are uploaded — deleted once the comparison finishes, and anything a failure leaves behind is removed by an automatic rule within 48 hours.
Results on screen are capped at 50,000 differences on every plan, because no browser can usefully render more than that. Paid plans can download the complete result as a file when a comparison exceeds it — every difference, not a sample.
